Metteer Parents Club
Metteer Parents Club
The Metteer Parents Club meets monthly and is responsible for many activities, including:
- organization of our annual fundraiser
- planning multiple events throughout the school year to support family involvement
- designing and marketing our school spirit wear
- coordination of school volunteers and many other events
Volunteering
Volunteering
Another way for parents to support our school is by volunteering in their child's classroom. Parent volunteers are always
welcome! Volunteers coordinate their service / time with the classroom teacher and are able to help in and out of the
classroom, including accompanying classes on field trip.

Parent Committees
Parent Committees
We also have several active parent committees, including:
- the English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC)
- the District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC)
- the Metteer School Site Council (SSC)
These committees and councils meet on a regular basis throughout the year. They are responsible for supporting the educational goals and priorities of Metteer as well as approving the allocation of funds and development of the Single Plan for Student Achievement.
