WHERE: Served daily at Metteer Elementary School

DATES: from June 6th to July 14th.

BREAKFAST TIMES: 8 - 8:30am

LUNCH TIMES: 11:30am - 12:15pm

We will be serving free breakfast and lunch for kids 18 and under throughout the summer! 🥐🍎🥗 No registration is required, so come join us and enjoy delicious meals to keep you energized all summer long! 🌞🍽️

We encourage you to complete an online enrollment form prior to May 17th. This will allow you to only have to complete the verification process and streamlines your time. Visit enroll.rbuesd.org to complete the enrollment form.

We want to hear from you! Every year our district asks for feedback from our families, staff, and community as we review and update our Local Control Accountability Plan, or LCAP. https://tejoin.com/scroll/472281471What is Thought Exchange?

Thought Exchange is a tool used to gather input through open-ended questions. Participants will be asked to answer one open-ended question. Participants may provide multiple responses and then move on to the next step. The next step is Star, where you will see your thoughts and the thoughts of others and assign stars to each thought (from 1-5) depending on how strongly you agree or disagree with the idea.

Thought Exchange keeps confidential who shared each thought and who assigned what rating or stars. You may rate as many thoughts as you would like. By using the navigation bar across the top, you can go back and share more ideas or thoughts or "star" more thoughts at any time.

California Fourth Grader Adventure Pass

Hey Fourth Graders! Are you ready for an adventure?

California invites you to apply for a California State Park Adventure Pass today and receive a FREE pass to visit state parks.

Applying for the free pass online is simple. All that is needed from a parent or guardian is a name, address, phone number and email address. For individuals who do not have access to a smartphone, computer or printer, and/or do not have an email address to use when applying online, they can still apply for a pass by visiting a State Parks Pass Sales Office or by calling (800) 444-7275. For detailed information on the program and the list of participating park units, please visit www.parks.ca.gov/AdventurePass

Join Us, Helping Your Child Succeed in School

The Family & Community Partnership would like to invite families to our upcoming event, “Helping Your Child Succeed in School”. This event is designed to provide families with tools to help support your child in their education. Topics will include Teacher Talks, to-do activities & resources to support your student in school and during times of adversity, and tips when using school-related technology like AERIES/Google Classroom/Parent Square. Dinner will be provided, and attendees will be entered into a raffle for a chance to WIN $100 Walmart, $100 Gas or $100 Grocery gift cards.

WHEN: October 25th

Preschool-5th Grade: 5:30-6:30PM

Dinner: 6:30-7:00PM

Grades 6th-12th: 7:00-8:00PM
